Fees to include in your budget
Ask whether the quote includes every required exam voucher, taxes, a retake and any renewal preparation. Do not assume a course advertised as “A+” includes certification.
Renewal and continued use
Check the issuer’s current continuing-education and renewal rules for the credential you earn. Keep your actual expiry date and completion evidence.
Before buying training
Match course content and voucher versions to the current exams. Confirm equipment, lab access, support and any experience recommendation.
Progression after the first credential
Build practical troubleshooting and communication evidence. Networking, security and specialist paths have their own prerequisites and do not guarantee a job.
