Transparent coverage
What the data
can tell you.
Sources, scope and limitations for the additional training and career datasets. Checked September 9, 2026.
Datasets included
| Dataset | Coverage | Reference period and limits |
|---|---|---|
| BLS OEWS wages | 89,752 occupational-area estimates; 318 BLS occupation series linked to 386 career profiles | May 2025. National, state, territory, metro and nonmetro estimates are retained; the public state directory covers 50 states and DC. Broad combined series are labeled. Self-employment excluded; suppressed values stay unavailable. |
| BLS employment projections | 318 linked occupation series | 2025–2035 national projections, including employment change, annual openings and typical entry education. Not advertised jobs or guaranteed outcomes. |
| DOL TrainingProviderResults | 46,193 grouped in-scope program records; 14,938 records matched to 957 federal institutions | Public download retrieved September 9, 2026. Its reporting snapshot conflicts with website documentation, including Oklahoma coverage. We do not assign a verified cohort year or publish outcome rates/earnings. State directories cover 50 states and DC; additional territory records remain in the audit. Historical cost fields are non-WIOA out-of-pocket amounts, not current full-course prices. |
| Apprenticeship.gov partners | 46,416 grouped organization locations | Retrieved September 9, 2026. Organization roles are retained when supplied. Listings do not establish a current vacancy, registered-sponsor status, wage or intake. Individual contact names and emails are omitted. |
| CareerOneStop / ARC license export | 11,105 state/DC license references | October 2024 export; individual dates vary and can be older. Historical legal descriptions and unverified occupation mappings are withheld. Authority links are starting points for checking current requirements, not verified current legal advice. |
| Census ACS five-year summary files | 6,098 retained geographies; 1,888 unique postal-city/place matches | 2020–2024 estimates: gross rent, household income and population. Dollar measures use 2024 dollars. Published margins of error retained. Unmatched postal cities use clearly labeled state context. |
| BEA regional price parities | 441 retained state and metropolitan geographies | 2024 price indices, national level = 100. State indices appear in budget context. Different years and populations are not silently combined into salary rankings. |
| Graduate earnings and borrowing | 31,946 Scorecard field/credential records; 36,617 Census PSEO field/cohort records | Scorecard June 2026 release and PSEO V4.14.1, 2026Q2. Broad fields and reporting institutions may cover multiple campuses; cohorts, dollar years and suppression remain visible. |
| Occupational requirements and interests | 82 exact-SOC requirements profiles; 365 occupational interest profiles | BLS ORS preliminary 2025 requirements and O*NET 31.0 occupational interests. Describe jobs, not personal health, capability or a guaranteed career match. |
| Campus childcare evidence | 168 institutions matched to historical awards | CCAMPIS 2022/2023 institution awards. Does not establish current childcare availability or student eligibility. |
| Named-course evidence | 13 curated course profiles across all eight families | Original course pages, catalogs and cost disclosures checked September 9, 2026. Curated, not nationwide current-course coverage. Missing facts and closed intakes are explicit. |
| Funding and planning resources | 66 routes, including all 50 states and Washington, DC | Original sponsor and government routes with filters and next actions. A directory filter is not an eligibility determination or confirmation of an open award. |
How program records are matched
Program records remain separate from reporting institutions. An institution match requires normalized provider name, city, state, ZIP and street number, with one candidate only. Similar names alone do not qualify. A matched administrative address still does not prove that every class is taught there.
Exact repeated program identities are grouped by provider, address, city, state, program name, credential and CIP subject. Conflicting values are withheld. Records with missing identity fields, invalid states or out-of-scope higher degrees are excluded. Numeric checks reject implausible duration values and inconsistent rates; suppressed values are never converted to zero.
What remains a verification route
Current enrollment, program-specific accreditation and license approval, exact current tuition, intake dates, live jobs and apprenticeship vacancies require current provider or authority evidence. The directory does not claim complete live national coverage for those facts.
Certification, scholarship, veteran-benefit, adult-education and reentry guidance links to original organizations. A link does not confirm personal eligibility, an open award cycle or approval of a particular program.
No account registration or paid data access is needed for the public downloads used here. Access restrictions are respected; unavailable feeds are not replaced with invented records.
