What a useful explanation looks like
Illustrative classroom example: “I measured a practice component against the instructor’s drawing. I recorded the specified tolerance, the measuring tool and each reading. My instructor checked the method. I repeated the measurement after noticing an inconsistent reading and documented the correction.”
