Request the current course list before buying. Separate mandatory items from optional upgrades and find out what can be borrowed or supplied.

Keep a useful kit record
- Item, exact required specification and who requires it.
- Included in tuition, borrowed, employer supplied or personally purchased.
- Price including tax, delivery and replacement consumables.
- Required date and whether aid or reimbursement arrives before then.
- Ownership, warranty, return policy and any discount conditions.
